Ingredients

  1. 2 cups Shawnee Best all-purpose flour, sifted
  2. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  3. 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  4. 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  5. 3/4 cup unsalted butter
  6. 3/4 cup dark brown sugar, tightly packed
  7. 2 eggs
  8. 1 cup apple butter
  9. 1 cup pecans
  10. 1 cup dried apricots, chopped

This perfect-for-fall apple butter and a cinnamon crumble topping make for a sweet breakfast, snack or dessert.

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, blend together butter, sugar, eggs and apple butter until creamy. Then mix in the flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon.
  3. Fold in the pecans and apricots and bake in small greased Bundt pans, loaf pan, or large muffin tins for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
