Preheat your oven to 350 f
Heavily grease a 12” cast iron pan with the butter and arrange the peaches and cherries, fully cover the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle the sugar over the fruit and heat the pan over low heat while preparing the topping.
In a small mixing bowl add Shawnee Mills pancake mix, cinnamon, and nutmeg mixing gently. Add the egg and milk and incorporate all the ingredients using a whisk.
Cover the now gently simmering fruit and top with the batter then in small dollops sprinkling on the remaining brown sugar. Bake in oven for 35 min.
