Ingredients

  1. 2 1/4 pounds lean boneless beef round steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  2. 1/4 cup Shawnee Best all-purpose flour
  3. 1/2 tsp Salt
  4. 1/2 tsp Ground Pepper
  5. 2 tbsp Canola Oil
  6. 1 oz package Dry Onion Soup Mix
  7. 4 cups Beef Broth
  8. 1 tbsp Tomato Paste
  9. 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  10. 2 cups Galletti Pasta Noodles

This is a fabulous recipe for thick, hearty beef stew that is easy to make in just a couple of hours. Tender beef and perfectly cooked noodles that are sure to please.

Directions

  1. Combine cubed beef, flour, salt and pepper in a large ziplock bag. Seal and shake to coat beef.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove beef from ziplock bag.
  3. Sauté beef until browned, about 5 minutes.
  4. Place meat into slow cooker. Add onion soup mix, beef broth, tomato paste and Worcestershire sauce. Cook on LOW for 8 hours, until beef is tender.
  5. Add noodles to slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 15-30 minutes, until noodles are tender.
